Meet the Founders

Life of Coco, founded by Elena and Joe from the Mornington Peninsula, is all about embracing beach life with style. Frustrated by typical towels, they created a compact, lightweight towel perfect for travel, featuring hand-drawn designs inspired by their favourite destinations and a built-in zipper pocket for valuables. Joe’s love for the water led to a towel that keeps sand at bay, while Elena’s desire for convenience inspired a world-first sunglass cleaner strip inside the pocket. Life of Coco is designed for sun, sand, and sea lovers seeking both function and flair.

Meet the Artists

Elena, co-founder of Life of Coco and a graphic designer with 15 years of experience, combines her love for the ocean and creativity to design vibrant, functional towels inspired by travel adventures. Her cousin, Chloe Mez, a tattoo artist and yoga teacher from Red Hill @hummingbirdinkstudio, brings her nature-inspired, intricate designs to the brand. Together, Elena and Chloe infuse Life of Coco’s hand-drawn towels with stories of adventure, freedom, and life by the ocean.
